Each of your users is unique and they will react differently to your marketing campaign If you blast users with a generic message to the wrong target user, it may lead them to lost interest and uninstall the App. So it is very important to segment the audience groups and tiers.

User segmentation involves assigning groups and tiers. By segmenting your users, you can make the most of the campaigns, content management and discount codes by targeting the right audiences.

Segment

  • Group of your users defined by rules (or filters) that you set using tiers and groups segments.
  • Segment will be used in publishing rules, marketing campaign and discount code

Group

  • A name assigned to a group of customers that may or may not have different tiers.
  • Groups can be assigned to customers via referral code or email domain.
  • Groups can be used as segments

Tier

  • A type of customer that could be assigned specific prices.
  • Tier can be used to create a segment.
